As a software developer, I like to learn new things everyday. It may be something about how an app works, or why something is done the way it is.

So, with this in mind, I decided to create a Community Forum, called dev:station.

About dev:station

dev:station is a community forum directed at development in general. This includes software development, web development, interface development etc.

Once a month, every month, we will select the best application,website, and/or interface from around the forum - this for our 'fame and glory' contests.

As part of being member-oriented, we also have a 'Member Projects' section where members can post links to applications they have made. These applications may be shareware, freeware, or open-source. The whole idea behind it is not only to spread the word, but also to get feedback - the best way to improve.

The larger section of dev:station caters as a support forum. If you're having a problem with something development-related, you can create a post stating the problem/query. Once you have got a working solution (either because you figured it out or because a member replied with one), you can set the post as "resolved" so that it can close.
This particular section (along with the Tutorials, Guidelines and Links section) is a great place to learn.
